Drive-In theater's future?
A Drive-in with a 33 metre wide inflatable movie screen in the centre of Brussels, Belgium |
But by the researching of the film industry, I think the Drive-in theater will gradually decreased as the cost is too much compare with the modern cinema. It will become a history. IMAX will instead of the Drive-in if the audience want a huge visio and audio effect.
According to the Wall Street Journal, IMAX (which is also the name of the company) plans to have a few of these bubble theaters in both China and the United States later this year, with the first showing in New York City in September.
But should Drive-In theater disappear from our live?
I hope its not. Drive-In theater can be design to be a advanced level in the future. At least this is an enjoyment of a life. With high quality of movie and good service. It is able to attract lots of customers even if it has twice or more price than the original.

Future of Australian Film Industry
Nicole Kidman, star of Dead Calm. |
The future of Australia Film Industry is healthy and brightness. International movie stars, high-tech applications and technology will accelerate the development of Australia Film Industry.
With world-class facilities in Sydney, the Gold Coast and soon Melbourne, as well as new tax incentives for overseas productions, the Australian attract an even industry is aiming to attract an even greater share of American films.
As demonstrated by Sean Murphy, "With films like 'Moulin Rouge' costing more than $100 million, whether a movie-making minnow like Australia can generate enough investment capital to compete on the world stage."
Drive-in theatres in Australia
Drive-in theatres were once very popular in Australia. Although considered an American invention there is evidence of outdoor cinemas in Western Australia where some patrons attended in their cars as far back as 1938, and it is possible that these facilities may even predate the first American style drive-in theatre.
But Many of the Australia Drive-in closed from many years ago and its not as popular as what I expect. The reason so many drive-ins closed come down to 2 major factors. The first is that the land that the drive-ins occupied became so expensive that the owners cashed in. The other reason was the VCR with many people now choosing to stay home and watch movies in the comfort of their own lounge room. It became much cheaper to rent a movie from the video store and watch it at home rather than taking the whole family to the drive-in. This is still the case today for a lot of people when it comes to taking the family out to a movie theatre.
In recent times there has been somewhat of a revival of the old drive-in movie theatres with many people returning to them. This is down to a number of factors with value for money being the most important. Most drive-ins are showing more than 1 movie in a session with some offering 3 movies for the price of one that is enticing people back. The drive in also tends to draw larger crowds during summer when it's a nice warm evening with many people preferring to be outside under the stars watching a movie. Also with fewer drive-ins around now the ones that are open aren't competing with each other to attract patrons.
In summary the drive-in theatre has been a large part of the Australian movie history and hope it can remain open and become popular in the future.

Cameo's Outdoor Cinema
In the present film technology bottlenecks encountered. Content of the film difficult to innovative, where people found its boring to watch the similar movies. It is better to improve visual and audio effect. Drive-In theater is a creative way to change that.
"One of my earliest memories is watching that film as a youngster. I was three when my parents first started the drive-in."
Said by Paul Whitaker, the owner of Dromana 3 Drive-In Cinema.
According to
Top 5 Outdoor cinemas:
1 Cameo Outdoor
2 Junkyard Cinema
3 Lunar Drive-in
4 Village Drive-in
5 Dromana 3 Drive-in
Paul's parents, Frank and Gwen Whitaker, started the drive-in in 1962, after first establishing the now-defunct Dromana cinema in the 1930s, then the Broadway cinema in Rosebud, the Cameo in Belgrave and the Leongatha drive-in.
Now the Cameo did not have drive-in yet but I believe this to be a good investment choice to build to attract customers and increase the profits and benefits.

A special type of outdoor cinema is the Drive-in theater.
Like outdoor cinema, A drive-in theater is a form of cinema structure consisting of a large screen outside in a big space. Within this enclosed area, customers can view movies from the privacy and comfort of their cars.
The soundtrack at a low output power on AM or FM Radio to be picked up by a car radio. It's a comfortable way by watching the movie inside of own cars. Bring the food, drinks and anything you want. Speak loudly with friend, share the happiness.
I think it will become very popular in the future as it's a new way of enjoying the movie.
